We offer some basic spun base sizes. We want them to be durable and offer them in 18 gauge steel (crs) with felting lips for 6″ to 8″ sizes and 7/16″ cord holes available on all to accommodate SPT2 electrical cord wire. The felting lip is usually ¼″ to 5/16″ wide as a bottom inside flange.
We can provide these and many other sizes in different heights, materials, thicknesses, with or without a felting lip. Some of our custom bases for example are 6″ by 1½″ height with felting lip and various top holes along with a socket (convenience) side hole. Custom bases, canopies or cans are by RFQ.
We have off the shelf tooling for these sizes in inches and more. 2, 2½, 3, 3½, 4, 4½, 4¾, 5, 5 ¼, 5½, 6, 6¼, 6½, 6¾, 7, 7½, 8, 8½, 9, 9½, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18.
